All I want for my 37th Birthday is support of the Washington Humane Society.
As many of my friends and family know, a few months ago we lost one of our best buddies and beloved cats, Sammy when he suddenly passed away. Sammy was a bigger-than-life, super-furry, often-cranky, extra-handsome, always-lovable boy who stole our hearts as a kitten and then broke our hearts 7 years later when he passed.
To help fill the hole in our home, but never his little hole in our hearts, Joe and I adopted two new buddies (Tucker and Thomas) thanks to the Washington Humane Society to join our lives with our little girl kitty--and their new big sister Miso.
So this fundraiser is my Birthday present to myself, a really special way to memorialize our beloved Sammy and one of the best ways I know how to say thank-you to the Washington Humane Society.
As my Birthday is September 23rd, my goal is to raise $10 a day, to hopefully raise $230 by my big day! Can you help me achieve my goal?
I hope you can for the hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits and other needy animals looking for their forever home.
