Support animals, people, and the community!
I began at HRA as a volunteer in November 2022, thinking that it would be an opportunity to spend time with dogs without alienating the cats at home.
While the dogs are wonderful (not to mention the cats, and rabbits, guinea pigs, and even the rooster when he's quiet), what has motivated me to continue is the people of HRA -- the staff and volunteers alike work tirelessly to help animals in need, but also support the community as a whole.
HRA is so much more than merely a place to adopt animals.
Though some of those inspiring people at HRA have changed, I remain committed to HRA, its incredible staff, its volunteers, and its mission.
It's for those reasons that I am participating in the Spring Forward with the Humane Rescue Alliance (HRA) 30-Day Fundraising Challenge from April 1-30. I am helping to raise (and contribute!) funds to sponsor the cost of care for animals during the busy Spring months. On average, it costs $250 to care for one animal.
HRA is hoping to raise $250,000 by the end of April. Will you sponsor an animal with me?
Please join me in supporting HRA in this important fundraising event by contributing generously. You can help make a difference in the lives of our community's animals and the people who love them.
Whatever you can give will help -- it all adds up! I greatly appreciate your support!
